About Appfrica International

Appfrica Labs is an consultancy that provides opportunity for African software developers who are trained in data visualization, web design, mobile and other areas of software development. Appfrica was started in 2008 and remains profitable, growing, and innovative. Read our history!

We actively support the interests of investors, project managers, NGOs or grantors have when dealing with tech projects from across the content. We are the organizers of the 2011 and 2010 Apps4Africa competition which offers cash and rewards to African app developers who excel at solving difficult problems.

Hive Colab facilitates, mentors and incubates entrepreneurs in software in East Africa. It’s a collaborative workspace and open environment we funded and co-Founded in Kampala, Uganda.
